Todd Phillips' is not only directing this time around but will also be a producer.

According to THR it seems like the movie will only cover Hogan's rise to fame and the peak of Hulkamania. It will not address all the scandals that Hogan has dealt with since his WWE days.
Hulk Hogan is one of the most popular wrestlers of all time and his popularity transcended the squared circle. We shall see soon enough if his biopic can achieve the same level of success.
