The Oath arrives on Digital December 28 and DVD January 8.

I remember watching trailers and wondering where it went. Looks like its finally getting a release.

The timely dark comedy boasting an all-star cast comes home when The Oath arrives on Digital December 28 and on DVD and On Demand January 8 from Lionsgate. Ike Barinholtz stars alongside Tiffany Haddish, Nora Dunn, Jon Barinholtz, Meredith Hagner, Carrie Brownstein, Billy Magnussen and John Cho in a film that The Playlist calls “Hilarious!” and the Houston Chronicle calls “one of the best movies of the year.” From the producers of Get Out and BlacKkKlansman, and written and directed by Ike Barinholtz (TV’s “The Mindy Project”) in his feature directorial debut, The Oath DVD will be available for the suggested retail price of $19.98.

OFFICIAL SYNOPSIS

An all-star comic cast leads this gleefully wicked comedy about surviving life in politically divided America. When high-strung Chris (Barinholtz) and his more levelheaded wife Kai (Haddish) learn that citizens are being asked to sign a loyalty oath, their refusal to sign—along with the arrival of two government agents (Cho and Magnussen)—sends an already tense holiday dinner completely off the rails.
