May 10, 2019 -- New theatrical releases from the award-winning global entertainment and event distributor Trafalgar Releasing coming to cinemas this month feature an array of musical and cultural experiences, including the new documentary Asbury Park: Riot, Redemption, Rock N’ Roll and classics from the Royal Shakespeare Company and Royal Opera House, including stage-to-screen showings of Faust, As You Like It and more.

In Select Theaters: May 22 and May 29
Synopsis: “Asbury Park: Riot, Redemption, Rock N' Roll” tells the story of the long-troubled town of Asbury Park, and how the power of music can unite a divided community.  A once storied seaside resort, Asbury Park erupted in flames during a summer of civil unrest, crippling the town for the next 45 years and reducing it to a state of urban blight.  A town literally divided by a set of railroad tracks, the riot destroyed the fabled Westside jazz and blues scene, but from the flames of the burning city emerged the iconic Jersey sound.

Royal Opera House: La Forza Del Destino

Synopsis: Directed by Christof Loy, with conducting by Antonio Pappano, Verdi's La Forza Del Destino (The Force of Destiny) is the story of Leonora forbidden love for Don Alvaro, and the fatal accident that triggers a drama of obsession, vengeance and tragedy.

Royal Opera House: Faust
In Select Theaters: between May 21 - June 21
Synopsis: Experience the decadence and elegance of 1870s Paris, in Director David McVicar's spectacular production of Grounod's best-loved opera.  Featuring some of opera's most popular and recognizable music numbers, performed by a cast of great international singers along with the Royal Opera Chorus,Faust remains one of opera's most enthralling works.
Starring: Michael Fabiano stars as Faust, with Diana Damrau as his beloved Marguerite and Erwin Schrott as the diabolical Méphistophélès.
